How to be Resourceful during your move!

Most people who are moving take a big deal of the labor involved in preparing for their move, there are some tips online and floating around on what you need etc. The things that you can't anticipate are the things that'll throw you for a loop and the exact things that I want to help you be prepared for. Not everyone has the funds to get all new materials or remembers to get everything needed or doesn't get enough. Instead of panicking there are a few things you can use to achieve the same objective. For example when it comes to packing you don't have to use boxes from the store brand new here are a few options:

Uhaul has a give and take bin that sometimes has a good selection of boxes.
Crawl the Buy/sell/give apps/sites and look for people giving away their used moving boxes
Get free boxes from your local grocery store or supercenter-Some of these stores no longer give out free boxes but some stores still do it.
You can use your used boxes from when you purchased them(Especially TV's), or when you get things delivered from online orders, save the boxing.
You can also use totes, storage bins, containers, trash bags, etc.

We all have to go through a move in some way shape or form at least one time in our life. For most this is a very stressful process, and I agree that it can be taxing even for me a professional mover with all the experience I have. This is why it's so important to be well prepared and make sure you have reminders to keep you on track during your move. An example we're all familiar with, you go to the groceries, and while you're at home and you know the exact 7 items you need(eggs, bread, salad dressing, bananas, a new coffee mug, lunch meat, and pepper), then you get to the grocery store, sometimes you might not make it in the store yet and someone took your spot and it ticks you off. Then you're walking up and you see your favorite store just opened up next door in the same plaza and get excited thinking about the possibilities and things you want to get. Then you remember, okay, let's go and get in the grocery store and get the things you need to get. Now in the store, there are many things that can throw you off from a busy store to a sale, to just your mind wandering. That's why you bring a list to help keep you on track during the mess.
